WHAT IS FAST TYPE?
Fast Type is a typing race where the words come as a picture, so copy-paste is useless. Fizbo posts one or two random words drawn as an image; you read them and type them back. The first message that matches exactly, character for character, wins — the window is fifteen seconds.

Does Fizbo have a typing speed game or typing race for Discord?
Yes — it is called Fast Type. The bot posts one or two random words as an image, and the first person to type them back exactly wins the round. The words are drawn independently, so you get odd pairings like “simple safety” or “memory depth” that nobody can autocomplete from habit. It plays like a head-to-head typing test built into your Discord chat: no separate website, no bot commands mid-round, just the fastest accurate message in the channel.
Do typos count in Fast Type?
No. The answer must match the prompt exactly, character for character, and your message has to contain the text and nothing else. A single wrong or missing letter means the message is silently ignored — the bot never replies to wrong answers — so you will often see two or three near-miss attempts sitting in chat before someone finally lands it. Accuracy matters as much as speed.
Why does Fast Type show the words as an image instead of text?
To stop copy-paste. Because the prompt is rendered as a picture inside the embed, there is no text to select, so every player has to read the words and physically type them. That keeps the race honest: the winner is whoever reads and types fastest, not whoever right-clicks fastest.
What is the difference between Fast Type and Text Reveal?
Fast Type shows you the full text immediately and the race is pure typing speed. Text Reveal hides the word and uncovers it one letter at a time, so the race is about deduction — guessing the whole word from a partial pattern before anyone else does. If your server wants a speed contest, pick Fast Type; if it wants a word puzzle, pick Text Reveal.
How long does a Fast Type round last?
The channel gets fifteen seconds. While the round is open, the embed shows the line “The fastest person to write the words below wins the game” over a “Waiting...” status; if no exact answer lands in time, it turns red and reads “No one won”. In practice most rounds resolve in two or three seconds, so the timeout mostly appears on genuinely awkward word pairs.
