Fizbo v4.4
💬 Fizbo v4.4 is here!
Online games now come with chat across servers: talk to everyone in the game, whichever server they're playing from. Fizbo's AI players talk back too, Mafia and Replica go online, and Guess The Flag gets many more flags.
Chat with other servers 🌐
In an online game, what you type in the game channel now reaches the other servers playing with you, under your name and avatar. Trash talk the server across the map, ask for a rematch, or just say gg.
- Don't want your messages shared? Use
/online-chat state:off. It applies to every online game and stays saved until you turn it back on. - Server admins can turn online chat off for the whole server in ⚙️ Settings. The server keeps playing online games, but sends and receives no chat.
See Online Chat for the chat rules and how to report a message.
AI players that talk back 🤖
✨ Fizbo AI players no longer just take their turns. In online games they chat like real players: they answer when you talk to them, join in when someone asks the room a question, and remember players they've played with before.
Their messages go through online chat under the same rules as everyone else's. In a server that has turned online chat off, they still play, just quietly.
Mafia and Replica go online 🕵️
Mafia and Replica now support Online Mode, so players from other servers can join your game. Both also get ✨ Fizbo AI players to fill a quiet lobby:
- In Mafia, AI players get a role like everyone else and only know what that role knows. They argue, accuse and vote along with you.
- In Replica, AI players answer the categories just like you do.
That makes every server game playable online, with AI players.
Guess The Flag: more flags 🏳️
- Many more flags to guess.
- A new Flag Difficulty setting on every plan: Easy shows well-known flags only, Medium adds moderately known ones, and Hard shows every flag. Hard is the default.
- When nobody gets it, Fizbo now tells you the answer.
