Manage Your Plan

Manage Your Subscription

  1. Login to Fizbo Dashboard
  2. Choose your subscription
  3. You're now on its Overview tab.

Change payment method

To update the card used for future renewals, click the Change payment method button, then follow the prompts to enter your new payment details. This ensures your subscription remains active without interruption.

Upgrade to Premium

If you're on Plus, you can move to Premium at any time using the Upgrade to Premium button. See Upgrade to Premium for the full walkthrough.

tip

You only pay the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period, and you'll see the exact amount before confirming.

Set up auto-renew

If your subscription was a gift, it has no card attached and will simply run out. Click the Set up auto-renew button to add one and keep the plan going.

info

You won't be charged now — your card is only charged when your current time runs out, so you keep the time you were given.

Reactivate subscription

If you've previously canceled your subscription and wish to reactivate it, click the Reactivate subscription button. You can reuse the card already on file, or enter a new one.

Cancel subscription

If you wish to cancel your subscription, click the Cancel subscription button and confirm. Auto-renew is turned off and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which the server drops back to the free tier.

tip

You can reactivate any time before it expires and keep your plan without a gap.

If you paid with Fizzy

A subscription funded with Fizzy is managed from the same Overview tab, with a few differences.

Auto-renew

Fizzy subscriptions renew from your balance automatically. Turning auto-renew off is how you cancel one: the plan stays active until the end of the term you have already paid for, and then the server drops back to the free tier.

warning

Turning auto-renew off does not refund the Fizzy for the term you are in, and neither does letting it lapse.

If your balance is short

If a renewal comes due and your balance cannot cover it, the plan does not end straight away. The dashboard shows a warning, you are sent a message, and the subscription keeps running for a short grace period while you top up. If the balance is still short when the grace period ends, the subscription ends.

Switching to a card

You can move a Fizzy subscription onto a card at any time with Set up auto-renew. You will not be charged immediately — the card takes over when the Fizzy-paid term runs out, so none of the time you paid for is lost.

note

This only works in one direction. A subscription paid for with a card cannot be switched over to Fizzy.
