WHAT IS DEATH WHEEL?
Death Wheel is a pure-luck elimination game: each round a wheel picks one player at random, and that player opens one of the boxes on the board — some safe, some traps that kick you out. Opened boxes stay revealed, so the safe picks run out as rounds go on. The last player standing wins.

EXTRA LIFECOMMON QUESTIONS
Is Death Wheel like Russian roulette for a Discord server?
That is the closest famous comparison, minus anything grim: it is a pure-luck elimination game where a spinning wheel picks a player at random and they must open one box from a grid, knowing some boxes are traps. Open a trap and you are eliminated; survive and the wheel spins for someone else. Nobody targets anyone — the danger is entirely between you and the board.
How is Death Wheel different from Fizbo's Roulette?
Both games open with a spinning wheel that lands on one player, but what happens next is opposite. In Roulette the chosen player gets power — 30 seconds and a row of buttons to eliminate any other player, which makes it social and political. In Death Wheel the chosen player is the one in danger — they must open a box that may be a trap, which makes it pure luck. Roulette breeds grudges; Death Wheel breeds superstition.
Do the opened boxes reset every round in Death Wheel?
No — the board persists. A box opened in an earlier round stays revealed, marked with a dot if it was safe — those rounds read “@player picked a safe box!” in the scrollback — or a skull where a trap was sprung, so every round is played on the same shrinking grid. Safe boxes get used up, and the later the game runs the worse the remaining odds become. Only when the grid is fully used up does it reshuffle into a fresh board.
Can you survive opening a trap box?
Only with an Extra Life, the perk bought with Fizzy — it absorbs one elimination, so a trap that should have ended your game leaves you standing instead. Without one, a trap is final: Fizbo posts the ejection line and your slice disappears from the wheel before the next spin. The timer is real too — the prompt reads “@player you have 20 seconds to pick a box!” — so stalling is not a survival strategy.
