WHAT IS GUESS THE WORD?
Guess The Word is Fizbo's word game about meaning rather than spelling — nothing in it ever reveals a letter. Fizbo names only the category, everybody types one word at the same moment, and the round closes on a single dartboard showing how near each answer came. Burger lands almost on the bullseye when the word is pizza; spoon sits out on the cold rim.

Is Guess The Word like Semantle or Wordle?
It is Semantle's idea — reach a secret word by how close in meaning you get — rebuilt as something a whole channel plays at once. Wordle is the wrong comparison: nothing here is about letters, so there are no blanks, no green tiles and no hangman. Fizbo names the category, everyone sends one word into chat inside the same short window, and the board that comes back ranks every answer by meaning alone.
How does a guess score when it is not the word?
By how near it came. We compare your word with the secret one by meaning, and the closer the two sit, the more the guess is worth — a near miss pays well, while a real word out on the cold rim pays nothing at all. Landing the word itself is worth double the best guess you could otherwise make. Only your best answer of the round counts, so a round cannot be farmed by guessing often — only by guessing well.
Does everyone guess at the same time, or take turns?
At the same time, which is why a round plays the same with four people as with forty. Each window runs 15 seconds by default and the prompt updates live with who has answered and the word they sent, so you can see what is already claimed. Someone getting it ends the round on the spot, and everyone still typing keeps the closeness they were about to bank. If the guesses run out instead, Fizbo reveals the word and the game moves on. Nobody is ever eliminated.
