WHAT IS HIDE AND SEEK?

Hide and Seek turns the channel into a grid of hiding spots: every player secretly picks one, and each round one player becomes the seeker and chooses a spot to search. Anyone found there is out — and the seeker is hiding somewhere on the same board they are searching. The last player still hidden wins.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How do you play hide and seek on Discord without voice chat?
Fizbo turns it into a grid game. The hiding spots are a board of identical blank buttons: at the start everyone secretly clicks one, and the confirmation is private so the channel learns nothing. Each round a randomly chosen seeker bombs one spot — everyone hiding there is eliminated, an empty spot is a public miss, and the last player still hidden wins. No voice, no honor system: the bot keeps every secret.
Can other players see which spot I chose to hide in?
No. Your choice is confirmed to you privately with your spot number, and nothing about it ever appears in the channel. The only information anyone gets is what the bombs reveal: a checked spot shows a target marker if players were hiding there or a dot if it was empty, and those reveals stay on the board. Everything else is bluffing in chat — which is, of course, most of the game.
What happens if the seeker picks an empty spot?
Nothing bad for anyone. Each seek round opens with “@player you have 20 seconds to choose a spot to check.”, and on a miss the bot announces “There wasn’t any player hiding at this spot” — the spot is marked with a dot on the board, and a new seeker gets a live board a few seconds later. Nobody is eliminated on a miss, not even the seeker, but the miss is permanent public information that shrinks the places anyone could plausibly be.
What does the Extra Life do in Hide and Seek?
It gives you a second hiding spot and a second chance. With an Extra Life — bought with Fizzy, the currency earned by playing — you can pick an additional spot to hide in, and being found once does not end your game: the bot announces you were saved by an extra life while anyone else in the bombed spot is ejected. It is the difference between one bad guess ending your night and surviving it.
